2012 - Let’s party like the mayans were right!
Hey guys! Hope your Christmas and New Year’s was filled with rad times, much booze and excellent music! We did so at one of our favourite venues - The Sugarland Tavern - the photo above is from our set - thanks to LIZARD Photography for the shots - they are awesome. We are kicking off 2012 with a bang - a heap of things to announce!!! Let’s get into it.
1) January 27 at the Hi-Fi, Brisbane
We are headlining our very first show at the Hi-Fi in Brisbane - it’s in West End and it’s an event run by Sunny Side Events and Management and presented by The Sunday Washup.

2) Our 2nd EP, Promise will be in stores (JB Hi-Fi, Sanity etc) February 3rd
If you have never picked up a copy of Promise, it will be in stores February 3rd, so please go out and pick up a copy, or if you’d just like to support us, please go out and buy a copy to give to a friend to give them the hot tip about us!!!
It will be $7.95 (a STEAL!) and available from the 3rd. It would mean heaps to us if you told your friends all about it!
3) Our Brand NEW EP, Long Way Home will be in stores (JB Hi-Fi, Sanity etc) and online (iTunes, Amazon, BigPond, Spotify etc) March 8th!
Our Brand newie, LONG WAY HOME will be in stores Friday March 8th and online in iTunes etc and we will be going out on tour at the same time. It will be in stores and online in iTunes, Amazon, Spotify etc.

4) Firestarter Music will be doing the Publicity duties for Long Way Home
This mightn’t make much sense to some, but we have struck up a partnership with Firestarter Music, who will be promoting the release of the CD and tour to radio, online and media for us. Firestarter Music is the baby of Adam Weston, who most of you might know as the Drummer from Birds of Tokyo, one of our favourite bands in the world, so we are all hella-excited about this! Cheers, Adam, hope to work with you heaps in the future!
5) We are playing and attending FUSE Festival in Adelaide February 22-24
We will be doing our first trip to Adelaide in February, for the annual FUSE Festival, which will be taking our manager Tim Price to as well. We will be playing the O-Week celebrations at Adelaide University as well. We are returning straight home to go to Brisbane’s Soundwave Festival. If you’re keen to party with us, let us know you are going to Soundwave on our Facebook and we’ll have a drink!
6) Our tour is kicking off in our two favourite places - Gladstone and Brisbane - in the one weekend!
March 9 and 10 will see us kicking off our Long Way Home Tour in Gladstone and Brisbane! We will be having a party in Gladstone (Pool Party, BBQ and beers and the EP on REAL LOUD and a big thank you to all the home-town crew at a venue to be announced real soon and the 10th will see us launching the EP in Brisbane with a MAMMOTH FREE SHOW at the Tempo Hotel with You Say When, This Collision and Clint and Dan from Melodyssey’s new band. That’s just the start of the tour! Wait till you see the other bands we are playing with when we hit the road!
